Copy/paste Word 2010 text into SWIFT:
The problem is a combination of using Internet Explorer to access SWIFT and Microsoft Word 2010. The district has standardized on Internet Explorer as a web browser so using a different browser is probably not an option. The Office 2010 version of Microsoft Word is not html friendly. This is the reason that text copied directly from Word 2010 does not paste correctly into SWIFT.

There have been 2 issues with SWIFT that have been reported to me from a few teachers in the district. One is a problem copying & pasting Microsoft Word 2010 text directly to a SWIFT web page. The other is creating links on pages. I had numerous email exchanges with the ESD about both issues and the solutions are below. Unfortunately, none of the solutions are particularly easy.
