Welcome to my home page!

As the social worker at Glacier Park Elementary School, I work to increase the positive connections among families, school and the community. Those healthy relationships support the learning for each Glacier Park child.

I sometimes meet with children individually to address immediate concerns, and talk with parents to explore possible community resources when requested. Common resource referrals include local counselors, health providers, food or clothing assistance and support during family crisis such as domestic violence, homelessness or allegations of child abuse. My work with children and families is confidential. The links and documents on this site provide a helpful place to start looking for resources that fit family needs.

I coordinate services for homeless families and also oversee 504 plans which provide accommodations for children with diagnosed medical conditions.

I often see children in small groups such as "Polar Den" and "Girl Talk" where students self-select the opportunity to play with other children while learning social skills. I also teach social skills, HIV and personal safety curriculum in classrooms.

I am currently facilitating a Love and Logic Parenting Class that has been so well received that we will probably do it again in the spring. Please let me know if you're interested.

For more information, please refer to the "Frequently Asked Questions" sheet in the documents section. I've downloaded many other documents that may be helpful.
Meanwhile, I welcome your call or email!
