Welcome!
This is the humble home for the Russell Ridge Center
Aviation/Aeronautics class. I am Bernard Cawley - a lifelong
aeromodeller who has always had a fascination with things that fly,
which led to my building of model airplanes beginning in grade
school, and later to my career as a Boeing engineer.
I hope to share some of what I know and help my students discover a
little bit about how and why flying machines of various types are
the way they are as we go through the year.
This is me with my most recent model - a Mountain Models Switchback
Senior. I hope to put a few pictures of students in action here,
rather than one of me, in the near future.
