Welcome to Shadow Lake,
As Shadow Lake's principal, I look forward to another year
of learning and working together in our school
community.
As
a school community, we strive to provide a quality learning
experience in a safe and nurturing climate. With the Tahoma School
District, we have created long-range goals for all our children. At
the core of our teaching and learning is process-based instruction
driven by thinking skills and behaviors. In addition to a
stimulating integrated curriculum, our boys and girls participate
in choir, band, and a myriad of zero hour activities including
scrap-booking, rollerblading, quilting, and much
more.
We are truly a community of learners. Our
parent volunteers contribute hours and hours of work to enhance our
learning climate. We also have a partnership with Tahoma School
District where high school students provide support to teachers by
tutoring and mentoring student.
