Shadow Lake
prides itself in supporting students as they learn to be
responsible adults.
Independence, honesty, good work habits, making friends and
respectful behaviors
are keys to school and life success.
The Support Center is located in Unit E. Ms. Deal
and Ms. Kane offer children opportunities to problem solve,
participate in social skill classes and/or guided
recesses.
The program is based upon positive connections and
teamwork with
students, teachers, para-educators and parents.
School-wide discipline may also be addressed in the Support
Center.
Love and Logic strategies are utlized with the
hope of students learning from their choices. In some cases,
behavior contracts are created.
We strive for students to have a strong self esteem
and
a positive attitude about working towards goals.
