Welcome To Our School:

Tahoma High School  was recently selected to participate in a nationwide partnership with the Council of Chief State School Officers, the Successful Practices Network. Our school has begun this five-year initiative designed to bring the effective practices our school uses to scale. We will gather and share the information about our school’s best practices and our reputation for providing all students with a rigorous and relevant education.

Tahoma High School will use the criteria to create a common agenda and personalized action plans to track our continuous improvement in having all students perform at high levels of rigor and relevance.

Our school features a well-rounded curriculum highlighted by a strong vocational program, many AP offerings and University of Washington classes. We offer integrated programs in which students learn content more thoroughly as well as thinking skills and behaviors. "We the People" team has won state championship eleven consecutive years and finished fourth in the nation in 2001. Strong math, speech and debate teams.
