This year marks my 22nd teaching at Tahoma
Junior High and my second year as teacher-librarian! It's been a
fun transition overall. As the library continues to expand the
number of computers and online information available to students
continues to grow, I'm focusing this year on how to support
students in using resources and tools
available to conduct quality research. Which is not
to say I don't love to discuss the books students
are reading and enjoying. I look forward to
continuing to add books to our collection that students
request (see the suggestion box on the front library
counter). I know I can't keep up with the rabid Manga
fans, but we more than doubled that collection last
year :)
