BIOGRAPHY: Penny Blair taught grades 6-8 at Enumclaw Junior High before coming to TJH in 2002.  She attended the UW before graduating from WSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics in 1976 and her Master of Education Degree in 1995.  After substitute teaching for two years she had two children and worked at the family hardware store and as classified staff in Enumclaw School District before resuming her teaching career.  John, my husband of 40 years, manages the family business, Gateway True Value Hardware, in Enumclaw.  Our son, JB, and his wife, Lynne, moved back to Washington from California 2 years ago.  JB teaches 8th grade and Lynne is an RN.  Our grandson Jack turned 7 in August and his brother Anderson is 4,sister Maggie is 1.  Shona, our daughter, graduated from University of Hawaii in Travel Industry Management, worked as a cruise director for Norwegian Cruise Lines in the international fleet, and now works with wellness programs in Human Resources for SouthWire Corp. in Carrollton, GA. Shona and her husband, Gene, have a 2 year old Son Jack.
