BIOGRAPHY: Penny Blair taught grades 6-8 at
Enumclaw Junior High before coming to TJH in 2002. She
attended the UW before graduating from WSU with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics in
1976 and her Master of Education Degree in 1995. After
substitute teaching for two years she had two children and worked
at the family hardware store and as classified staff in Enumclaw
School District before resuming her teaching career. John, my
husband of 33 years, manages the family business, Gateway True
Value Hardware, in Enumclaw. Our son, JB, and his wife,
Lynne, live in LaMirada, CA. JB teaches 8th grade and Lynne
is an RN in the surgical ICU. They are joined by son Jack
Aug. 2, 2008. Shona, our daughter, graduated from
University of Hawaii in Travel Industry Management and is currently
a cruise director for Norwegian Cruise Lines aboard Pride of
America.
